Basic Machine Quilting Class Part 4

Lesson 4 : Paper piecing technique
Project : Houses wall hanging
Say something about this. What do you think?
Well, when my friends saw my fabric, they said " It's you" or " Nobody dare to choose all colorful fabrics like this." or " Are you crazy?" Whatever it's my style, can't blame me, I love fresh and bright color. Main concept is "Wonderful village", the comic I read when I was young coming to my mind, I can't remember its name, somethings about the " Mr.Square", "Mr.Circle" ....and others ( shape name , maybe triangle and etc.). I think I've never seen their village, only the charactors I can find in my long term memory. As Mr.Square is red, Mr.Circle is yellow, they should paint their houses with bright color. Right?

 My friend's comment ( sure... when it's finish ) :  "It's not too bad"...*sigh*...."Well, This's really you!"
(OK. Sis, I know you like taupe color.)
Because of deep brown sassing and border, the colors look balance. It's my first time I try another freemotion motif, called Doodle? ...Stippling is always my choice but the others look pretty too, I should try them next time.

  3. I love this so much, the detail and the colours are fab. I did my first paper piecing yesterday (and may now be addicted) so I can really appreciate your work here. Reminds me of my home High Street in England, lovely.
